Susan Burry - Dietician & nutritionist
Susan, of NutritionU, qualified as a Registered Dietitian in 1992 in Canada.
She worked in the food industry for 20 years before starting her private practice in Canada, and then moved to London to study for her Masters at the University of Roehampton, where she specialised in the treatment of obesity.
Her private practice offers tailored nutritional education to patients, clients and students, and she works for the Government of Jersey’s Public Health department, helping families facing obesity to live healthy lives.
“I understand the pressures people face, the lack of time for exercise after a hard day at work, the fear of trying out new approaches to health.
My professional qualifications give me the knowledge to help people try different ways to tackle old problems.
We don’t have to commit to self-denial but we can all make small changes to become more active and healthier.

Susan has a keen interest in weight-loss management with a track record of success stories in both the private and public sectors.
Susan supports the Orbera Balloon Programme, with a pre insertion and post balloon insertion appointment with Susan included in the Balloon insertion unit fee.
